Insurance broker platform
A multi-tenant platform for broker registration and partner-data imports. I work across the Next.js / NestJS flow, Cognito / OIDC, MongoDB and the AWS import pipeline, including the position-dependent legacy CSV format and the checks that make retries safe.

BI platform
The first version was PostgreSQL, Python and cron on one VM. It grew into the Azure data platform behind our reporting, scraping, ETL and dashboards.

Company data API
A FastAPI service used from Excel by Finance, Controlling and Treasury. I designed and maintained it for more than two years: auth, rate limits, caching, background work, streaming, monitoring and all the other unglamorous things that keep an internal API useful.

Mining analytics
Minute-level mining data came from BigQuery, landed cheaply in Azure Blob Storage and stayed queryable in Snowflake. Python ETL and Power BI did the rest.

Bitcoin sales
A rule-based Coinbase Prime selling script and a Teams bot for balances and trades. The bot eventually lost a fight with webhook deprecation; the selling script kept doing its job.

I read through the Ethereum source, modelled the move to proof of stake and turned it into a business decision: move from ETH to BTC mining while the hardware could still be sold well. The timing put the GPU sales 20–30% above later market prices.

SWIFT statement converter
The expensive in-house software could not read some bank statements, so I wrote a parser and a small SvelteKit upload / download UI. POC in a few hours, MVP in two days; it stayed as the thing Finance used when the expensive thing failed.

Ask the database
Telegram in, SQL out: GPT and n8n translated questions into queries against a mirrored database and returned text, CSV or Excel. A deliberately bounded POC for PMO and Operations.

turso.zig
I wanted to use Turso from Zig, so I wrote the binding. It exposes the C API when you need it and adds a safer API for normal use; exact upstream pins, runnable examples and ownership rules included.

A small, self-hosted analytics engine for sites like this one. One Zig process, embedded Turso + DuckDB, useful HTML from the server, no ClickHouse cluster or admin SPA hiding behind the word “simple”.

A small FastAPI / React PWA around yt-dlp and ffmpeg, built because getting a clip from a link into a chat took too long. The full path went from roughly 20–30 seconds to 7–10.

Freelance Data Scientist
Varroa detection
Four synchronized cameras, image stitching and a TensorFlow / Keras model running on a Raspberry Pi + TPU. It turned a one-to-two minute measurement into 12–18 seconds without trading away accuracy; I also supervised the labelling work and checked the results with the researchers.
